Don't Believe The Truth is the 6th studio album by Oasis. The album was produced by Dave Sardy and Noel Gallagher and was released on 30 May 2005 under Big Brother Records. This album has a blend of Rock, Britpop, Alternative rock, Hard rock Genres. Total album play time is just over 42 minutes spanning over 11 tracks.

 

Noel Gallagher's thoughts: Noel believe's the contributions by all members have been significant in this album. This album has a different feel to it.

The band has a new drummer Starkey who was not an official member of Oasis.

Album Review: Critics gave positive reviews to the album and lauded it for being their best album in a decade. In UK, the album hit #1 on the weekly charts selling over 237,000 copies, in US the album hit #12 selling over 65,000 copies in first week. In UK it was certified 3x Platinum (900,000+ sales) and in US it sold over 200,000+ copies. In all they have sold over 7 million copies worldwide.

The band toured 26 countries entertaining over 3.2 million fans over 113 concerts worldwide.
